Biogold Agri are specialists in grain drying for over 25 years. We dry barley, food grade barley, wheat and oats during the harvest season. Following delivery of green grain, we aim to keep all grain under cover prior to drying to ensure there is no deterioration of product during poor weather conditions.
Over the past 25 years, Biogold Agri has continually invested strongly to provide facilities where grain can be delivered and unloaded quickly at harvest time. We provide flexible, long opening hours seven days a week during the peak harvest period.
At Biogold Agri, we commit to continue to invest in and develop our business to match the demands of the industry. Over the past decade, higher crop yields and larger combine harvesters, has put grain intake depots under pressure. Our commitment to investment has ensured we can meet this increased demand and deliver for our clients.
Our Grain drying equipment
At Biogold Agri, we have drying capacity of over 150 tonnes per hour which is delivered through three grain driers. These grain driers work 24/7 at harvest time under the supervision of our highly trained staff. Our driers are a tower Mix Flo drier and two Alvan Blanch DF48000 driers. One of our driers is fuelled by locally produced biomass and it is our ambition to convert all drying to biomass over the next few years as part of our commitment to the environment.
